This guide describes the definitions of each key performance indicator (KPI) in the Month to Date at a Glance section of the Morning Meeting Report and where to find corresponding information within Optimizer Classic.



 


Month to Date At A Glance:



Gross Production (Actual)


This is the total value of all your production without any deductions for discounts. This includes discounts to insurance companies and your family, friends, or staff.


Where can I find Gross Production information in Optimizer Classic?


You can find this information in the KPIs section (Practice KPIs, Gross Production KPI). Select the same date range from the Morning Meeting Report (Current Month). Select the Actual blue bar for a zoom-in detailed look at patient Information


 


 


Adjusted (Net) Production (Actual)


Adjusted Production is the total value of all your work after subtracting all of the adjustments from UCR production.


Where can I find Adjusted Production information in Optimizer Classic?


You can find Adjusted Production information in the KPIs section (Practice KPIs, Net Production KPI). Select the same date range from Morning Meeting Report (Current Month). Select the blue bar for a zoom-in detailed look at patient information. You will be able to view gross production as well as all adjustments made, providing you with the adjusted production total.


 


 


Total Collection (Actual)


Total Collection is the recovered amounts of money owed to the practice by its patients via insurance or “cash” payments.


Where can I find Total Collection information in Optimizer Classic?


You can find Total Collection information in the KPIs section (Practice KPIs, Net Collection KPI). Select the same date range from Morning Meeting Report (Current Month). Select the blue bar for a zoom-in detailed look at patient information. You will be able to view the Total Collection as well as all of the adjustments made.


 


 


Over the Counter Collection (Actual)


Over the Counter Collection is the amount of money owed to the practice by its patients before or at the time of service. This does not include insurance payments but does include co-pays or other health care plan cards that the patient uses to pay for their services. 


Note: Types of payments will need to be selected in Settings, OTC Payments Mapping.


 


 


Scheduled Production for Rest of the Month


Scheduled Production is the total value of all your production without any deductions for discounts. This information is pulled directly from your practice management software appointment book for the remaining working days of the current month


Where can I find Scheduled Production information in Optimizer Classic?


You can find Scheduled Production information in the KPIs section (Practice KPIs, Scheduled Production KPI). Select the same date range (Rest of the Month). Select the Actual blue bar for a zoom-in detailed look at patient information.


 


New Patients


New Patients is defined as the total of all new patients for all providers seen in the practice.


Note: A New Patient definition will need to be set in Settings, Patient Settings, New Patient Criteria.


 


Where can I find New Patient information in Optimizer Classic?


You can find New Patient information in the KPIs section (Practice KPIs, New Patients Vs Total Patients Seen KPI). Select the same date range from the Morning Meeting Report (Current Month). Select the New Patient blue bar for a zoom-in detailed look at patient information


 


 


Number of Patients Seen


The number of Patients Seen is defined as the total of all patients for all providers seen in the practice.


Where can I find the Number of Patients Seen in Optimizer Classic?


You can find the Number of Patients seen in the KPIs section (Practice KPIs, New Patients Vs Total Patients Seen KPI).  Select the same date range from Morning Meeting Report (Current Month). Select the Total Patients Seen blue bar for a zoom-in detailed look at patient information.


 

 


Number of Procedures


The number of Procedures is defined as the total of all procedures for all providers completed in the practice.


Where can I find the Number of Procedures in Optimizer Classic?


There are Two Options:


1) You can find the Number of Procedures in the KPI section (Practice KPIs, Gross Production KPI). Select the same date range from the Morning Meeting Report (Current Month). Select the Actual blue bar for a zoom-in detailed look at patient information.


 


Once you have selected the zoom-in, you can see “# of Records” at the bottom of the page  (Procedures Completed).


 


2) For total detailed Procedures By Provider, select Reports, Provider Reports, and Procedure By Provider. Select the same date range from Morning Meeting Report (Current Month).
