The Sikka Hydra SmartBoard assists your practice team members to successfully complete each day’s tasks in an easy-to-use daily workflow. Your team's unique roles (such as the Front Office and Treatment Coordinator team members)will have specific tasks that will be required to be completed before during the day. Hydra SmartBoard has a self-guiding feature which creates tasks for specific team members by automatically listing tasks based on the needs of each patient scheduled to come into the practice that day.


 


Signing In


Use your existing Practice Optimizer credentials to sign in to Hydra:

After signing in, Hydra SmartBoard will display the My Tasks screen:

Adding Users


Click on Product Configuration in the navigation menu on the left:

Click Add User and fill in the required information. Click Add User again near the bottom left to continue:

After successfully adding a user you should see that user listed under the Product Configuration screen.


 


User Types


FrontDesk: Designed to ensure that basic tasks for each patient are completed. Prompts User to check for changes in contact information, Displays AR balance and Remaining Insurance Benefit.  Upon “Check In” alerts other logged on team members that patient has arrived and is ready to proceed to Operatory.


Treatment Coordinator: Will see pending Treatment amount and Remaining Insurance Balance.  Also provides a tool to help present pending plans to patients.


Dentist: Hydra displays prior day’s Insurance to Production, Yesterday’s Collection to Production and any Patients who may be going Inactive today.


 


Creating Tasks


Tasks are always related to patients in Hydra SmartBoard. Any User has the ability to create tasks for themselves and other team members. Tasks can be viewed by the respective User in their “My Tasks” Section when they sign in.


Click on a patient record to reveal the patient detail screen.


Click on create task button:

Type in the date, assignee, and description and click Create Task to save the task to the User's board.


 


Patient Search


Patient Search allows you to search your entire list of patients in your practice management software quickly. Hydra SmartBoard also displays all the relevant information for each patients, and allows you to schedule tasks and make notes to inform other team members. 


Click on Patient Search in the navigation menu on the left


Enter the patient's first or last name in the search bar


Click on the patient you want to display the patient details screen


You can toggle your search results using the Previous, Next and First, Last buttons.


 


Notes


Notes are always related to patients in Hydra SmartBoard. Any User has the ability to record notes about patients for themselves and other team members. Notes can be viewed by any respective User in patient detail screen.
