A key performance indicator (KPI) is a business metric used to evaluate factors that are crucial to the success of an organization. To access the KPIs in Optimizer Classic select the KPIs tab on the left Navigation menu

Next, select the sub-tab on the on the left Navigation menu for the category of KPI you are looking for. e.g. Dentist KPIs

Now in the right-hand pane dashboard will load with the available KPIs for the category selected

The controls in the upper-right corner of the pane allow you to select a date range or chose from a predefined date range. You can also export the KPIs from the dashboard into a PDF by clicking the Export button

Each KPI Dash-let in the Dashboard view has a Title Bar with the name of the KPI, The Rating on a scale of one to five stars, and the favorite toggle (Heart Symbol)

Below the title bar will be the criteria selector, This allows you to increase or decrease the number of bars that will be displayed on the graph at one time

Also in this section of the KIP you will find options to export the KPI to PDF or CSV formats; Compare the same data for two different date ranges; and maximize the KPI to be the only one displayed in the pane

At the top of the bar graph are lamps that indicate if the goals are being met. The gray color indicates a goal has not been set, The Red color indicates the Goal is being missed. The green color indicates the goal is being met

The data is organized in a graph in the KPI. In example the Dentist Adjusted Production. The Y access is the dollar value for the adjusted production and the Y-Axis is a grouping like Per hour, day or visit. Located at the bottom of the graph is a key for the different colored bars like Actual, Goal, and National
